  1. This looks like what we call a "walking onion" because the flower heads will eventually bend over and create many new onion plants. The flower heads are very tasty in a salad.

  2. Nice try. I would like to put some walking onions in our garden. But no, it isn't an onion. And thanks for the info, I didn't know you could use onion flowers in salad.
